About this position 

The Head of Branding will lead branding of one of the largest fintech company with presence across 6 countries in Southeast Asia. He/she will join our company’s journey to accomplish the mission of enabling everyone with access to innovative financial services, leading to better lives. 

The Head of Branding is responsible for understanding what attracts our target audience, and for developing marketing campaigns that position our brand according to those triggers. These marketing campaigns will not only drive customer engagement, but will further define our brand's reputation and image in relation to the market.   

As the brand leader, the Head of Branding must use customer and trend research to create strategies that will change how people perceive the brand.  He/ she will lead strategy, creation and execution of compelling brand campaign and communications with various stakeholders that effectively achieves branding & business objectives. 

He/she will play a critical role as our “brand guardian”, in order to maintain brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications as well as guiding others in the organization, to make TrueMoney Wallet become the most preferred payment platform for millions of Asian people to use everyday.

What you’ll be doing… 

The Head of Branding is responsible for adapting a brand strategy for a company's target market, therefore he/she is in charge of:

• Brand strategy, including the setting of style guides, brand guidelines, brand vision and value proposition for short as well as long term
• Planning and execution of all communications and media actions on all channels, including online, offline and social media to ensure that products and services meet customers’ expectations and to build the credibility of our brand
• Make sure that branding is consistent across advertising and campaigns
• Initiate brand campaigns and analyse the success of those campaigns and creating reports
• Assisting with product development, product naming and new product launches
• Creating and managing promotional collateral to establish and maintain product branding
• Managing the budget for brand campaigns and advertising
• Drive market research in order to keep up to date with customer trends, as well as trying to predict future trends
• Drive competitor and customer insights analysis
• Communicate our brand personality internally and align company around foundational ideas 

Key skills 

It is not just enough to have good ideas. The Head of Branding needs to be able to execute them. Since he/she will work with a variety of organizational functions to achieve the goals, he/she must be able to stay focused and be ready to take on multiple responsibilities. So, we need someone who is:

• Minimum of 5 years in Branding with successful experience as a team leader
• Logical, with strong analytical skills and keen attention to details
• A “do-er” who gets things done in a timely manner
• An understanding of trends and an ability to respond to customers’ wishes
• Creativity and an ability to produce innovative and original ideas
• Time and project management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
• An ability to think strategically and come up with campaigns
• Creativity, trend savviness and out of the box thinking
• Team player and a coach with high affinity to lead and develop teams
• Fast learner who can proactively assess cost-benefit relationships
• Highly committed with strong sense of ownership and responsibility
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Thai
