Principal Accountabilities: 

• Manage overall company financial accounting and operations; monitoring and reporting system accurately and in timely manner for GAC and GTL in accordance with general accepted accounting principles (GAAP), current regulations & legislation and GAC Group requirements.
• Develop financial management mechanism that minimize financial risk.
• Responsible and engages in financial analysis/reports in such areas as forecasting, budgeting, cost reduction analysis, and reviewing operational performance etc.
• Manage, supervise and oversee overall accounting staff/operations e.g. financial reports, operating income report, month end and year end closing and review the correctness of accounting transactions etc. including
• -Plan, develop, implement, improve, audit and verify financial accounting and administrative policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities including financial statement, reports, ledger preparation, yearend close & audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities, withholding tax payment, income tax, goods & service tax, freight tax, cash management, accounts receivable & account payables, credit control, petty cash, book keeping function, employee relations & accountabilities and other corporate policies
• Meet financial accounting objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Confirm financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; preparing special reports.
• Manage the acquisition of capital assets and ensure that assets are properly recorded, amortized and disposed of as appropriate.
• Fund Management; forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs and available funds for investment
• Responsible to manage, guide, support and monitor subordinates work are properly allocated and accurately completed in a timely manner at specific deadline.
• Make recommendations in invoice and finance processes to support and increase operational efficiency in operations.
• Avoid legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation; enforcing accounting regulations; recommending new procedures.
• Respond to inquiries from the Managing Director regarding financial results, special reporting requests & analysis and the like.

Qualifications: 

• At least 5 years working in managerial position
• Bachelor's degree in finance accounting or related field.
• Proactive and good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work under pressure
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Computer literacy
• Own transportation will be an advantage
