• To provide electrical and controls design for projects as well as engineering assistance for projects within the company as assigned, work to make sure assignments are completed within budget and on schedule, and communicate effectively with team members on project status and needs.

• To act as Engineer on projects as required.
• Prepare engineering specifications, data sheet, calculation designs, electrical diagrams, drawings and requisitions, technical bid evaluations, vendor document reviews and approvals, as required by the projects.
• Review clients design input for completeness and compliance with local authorities requirement.
• Review and markup all relevant drawings/document as respected to electrical system e.g. P&ID, Plant layouts and other key documents with due consideration of safety, operability, simplicity and cost minimization.
• Review mechanical engineering equipment lists and data sheets to determine accuracy of motor lists and power requirements.
• Ensure the optimal technical interface with other disciplines particularly instruments, mechanical, civil and process engineering.
• Provide cost effective design solutions, review design accordingly and control and report progress and man-hours consumption in accordance with company and project procedures.
• Identify project scope or design changes, or other issues which could adversely affect project cost or schedule, promptly to the Lead Engineer.
• Provide Electrical Engineering support for installation and commissioning phases of the project (if applicable). Organize site inspection visits when required by the project.
• Pay close attention to the notification of design changes which affect cost, schedule or impact upon the work of other disciplines.
• Participate in meeting, site survey, design reviews as required.
• Perform the works by respect to quality control, safety, budget man-hours and cost optimization.
• Coordinate and work closely with team and other disciplines e.g. engineering groups, procurement, construction, proposal, etc.

• Experience (Education) : Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical (Power) from reputable universities.
• Experience (Work) :  Experience around 5 years in a engineering design in one or more of the following industry sectors; Refinery and gas plant, Petrochemical, Offshore, Power station, HV Substation for oil & gas, clean fuels, bio-fuels and other process industries, relevant engineering experience in other industries will also be considered.
• Competencies
  • Electrical engineering skills in Power system study, Calculation, Specification and Data Sheets, Single Line Diagrams, Layout, drawings and so on.
  • Familiarity with using Power System Analysis Software such as ETAP, etc. is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with local and international codes and standards e.g. IEC, Thai standards/ Regulation, IEEE, NFPA, etc.
  • Experience with consulting engineering firms or EPC company is an advantage.
  • Engineering license is a must; Class I license is an advantage.
• Skills : Communication in English is preferred.
