DevOps Engineer (Google Cloud, Kubernetes, etc.) / Up to 150K

Our premium client is a multinational fast-growing tech company working in the real estate sector. With services provided to customers all over Southeast Asia and with offices based in Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam and so on.

The client is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their technical team in Thailand, who will be promoting DevOps culture within the company, managing the client’s infrastructure and improve how the development team works and how the client’s products are developed and deployed.

As an experienced DevOps Engineer, candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a DevOps role or a similar position. The candidate should be experienced with cloud technologies, with a focus on Google Cloud, as well as a background in automation and monitoring. The candidate should be familiar with CI/CD, microservices, Kubernetes, etc. and Agile Development Methodology.

Because of the international nature of the company, there will be both expat and Thai staff based in the office.

Responsibilities

• Manage the company's technical infrastructure (such as Google Cloud, VMWare, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Manage availability, scalability and latency of company applications
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines
• Promote, train team and enforce best practices
• Manage backups and disaster recovery
• Help improve how developers work and promote an Agile culture in the company

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a DevOps or similar position
• Experience working with cloud technologies, with a focus on Google Cloud in particular
• Experience with automation and monitoring
• Experience working with CI/CD, microservices, Kubernetes ...
• Experience with Agile Development Methodology
• Skilled in at least one programming language
• Have a passion for technology 
• Strong command of both spoken and written English
