Corporate Technology Manager (IT)

  • Bachelor Degree in Computing or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience IT Helpdesk
  • Good command in English and communication skills


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates training and orientation for new employees and helps them become productive upon onboarding
  • Ensures all users benefit from effective technology and efficient Internet access, and continually assesses needs and requirements
  • Organises support, troubleshooting, and repair for IT equipment and networks
  • Owns the foodpanda employee IT experience in-country, ensuring that SLAs and CSAT targets are constantly met.
  • Works with Infosec and takes appropriate steps to address security breaches if necessary
  • Establishes relationships with technology and equipment vendors
  • Manages a team of IT support staff, including education, training and career development
  • Advises human resources colleagues on staffing needs and participates in the hiring and training process
  • Manages departmental budget and tracks spending on equipment and staff
  • Develops and maintains continuity plans to address local business continuity
  • Has a thorough understanding of local culture and is active in seeking how technology enables business to go faster
  • Project Management experience with office builds to help expand the business across the country


  • Bachelor Degree in Computing or equivalent qualification.
  • Approx. 3-5 years of relevant experience in Corporate Technology functions.
  • Experience in IT Helpdesk functions, with capabilities in handling high ticket volumes across multiple sites.
  • A self-driven leader with proven capabilities in managing and leading a team
  • Strong knowledge of the latest technologies including workplace tech and productivity tools.
  • Background in fast-paced startup/technology environments preferred.
  • Strong customer focus, hands-on attitude, and ability to operate under pressure as well as meeting the goals and OKRs set by regional and global HQs
  • Energetic and highly motivated with excellent communication skills.
  • 2-3 years of experience in leading a group of IT Helpdesk
  • Has solid knowledge and experience in first level support including computer deployment, ticketing system and major collaboration tools e.g: (Confluence, JIRA, A/D, Sailpoint, SSO)
  • Has a solid knowledge on basic infrastructure build
  • Ability to write and communicate in English
  • Exhibit skills in solving complex problems spanning across multiple functions
