Corporate Affairs Specialist

(12-month Contract) 

Objective of the Position

This position aims to effectively support the BASF Thailand's business and culture that requires stronger development of corporate brand awareness and reputation; marketing communications to promote BASF solutions and products; and stakeholder engagement towards customers, media, government, NGOs, community, associations, industry partners and employees.

Main Tasks

Brand management and Marketing communications

  • Effectively support internal partners and manage suppliers on consistent visual style and messaging at every touch point (including events, giveaways, online and print materials)
  • Provide support/training on corporate design/corporate identity to internal/external partners
  • Successfully carry out BASF Kids’ Lab, BASF Virtual Lab, customer events and other campaigns in coordination with relevant departments and service providers, including
    • conceptualization
    • event/project management
    • communication materials design and production
    • and other logistics

Online and External communications:

  • Develop digital presence and engagement throughout major platforms, including website and social media through:
  • Coordinate with relevant departments at country and regional levels as well as service providers to set-up, monitor and update corporate social media platform  
  • Maintain and update corporate website in collaboration with relevant departments at country and regional levels
  • Maintain and update online exposure on relevant partners’ website and social media      channel
  • Develop, translate and distribute press releases/press materials to relevant media network
  • Coordinate with relevant units and external partners to develop communications materials and implement relevant projects, visits and meetings
  • Monitor media/social media on daily basis for social and business sentiments
  • Facilitate and develop relevant local and regional reports
  • Support in development of communications and training materials for issue management and crisis management

Employee communications:

  • Regularly update major activities through email system, Yammer social media platform and contribute to the regional employee newsletter
  • Effectively coordinate and support employee events including townhall meetings and Annual Staff Party
  • Develop, translate and distribute other communications materials as necessary and/or required

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in PR/ Communications/ Journalism/ Marketing/ English
  • Minimum 3-4 years in the same positions at agencies, NGOs or multinational companies
  • Experience in digital/social media will be an advantage
  • Experience in employee communication, CSR, brand management
  • Experience in working across the teams
  • Good knowledge in digital/social media
  • Good skills in writing, translation and event management
  • Thai and English fluency
