Compliance Manager / Senior Compliance Officer

Responsibilities

Compliance Manager will oversee consumer finance related compliance, internal audit and risk matter. Primary functions include monitoring & setup an audit process of Credit underwriting, Loan booking, payment and customer service to serve the ongoing lending business. You will manage the compliance process, policies and maintain strong controls and regulatory compliance.

• Hold strong leadership competencies with the ability to set clear expectations and objectives, and communicate regularly with the team to update regulatory information
• Develop, manage, review and adjust, key processes and performance metrics designed to comply with related laws and regulations
• Develop business and process proposal to discuss with regulators and/or related organizations to obtain licenses required for business operation
• Establish an internal audit process, implement and monitoring 
• Work with existing staff to mitigate risk
• Establish and implement policy, procedure, and process to ensure operational controls are in place in compliance with all laws, regulations, contracts, and policies
• Establish and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders, especially, regulators and government bodies
• Communicate compliance issues to executives and provide solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent on law, business administration or related majors
• Business English language proficiency
• At least 3 years of related business management experience in compliance for retail banking operations or consumer finance
• Highly experience in financial technology is highly desirable
• Experience with process and workflow design is a plus
• Understand the principles, policies and practices of financial regulatory rules with experience in working with internal audit and regulatory bodies, especially for digital and financial sector
• Ability to develop new policies and procedures in response to, and in anticipation of, changes in the business and regulatory environment
