Civil Engineer (Construction Designer)

Job Descriptions:

• Review project requirement, specifications and customer’s AFC drawings
  and standards.
• To prepare special project specification, concept design, basic design.
• Reviews project specification, drawings, calculation report both internal
  external documents.
• Responsible and handle internal special projects to prepare project Tern of
  Reference (TOR) for biding.
• Corroborate and coordinate, meeting, details discussion both internal and
  external parties.
• Prepare project schedule
• Attends Project meeting whenever necessary, prepare minutes of meeting
  report.
• Attends meetings with production team whenever necessary.
• Informs all additional / lacking information that may be found on the drawings
  and documents. Prepare the necessary queries.
• Monitor and control the receipt and issuance of project documents such as
  fabrication / erection drawings packing list, B.O.M., etc. by updating the
  document / Drawing Register (Document control).
• Responsible and checks fabrication and erection drawings, material take-off,
  BOM in accordance with the established Quality procedure and compliance
  with customer’s specifications.
• Perform other related duties such as engineering assistance to production
  and inspection whenever necessary.
• Acknowledge and understand the company policy, objective and target that
  the company issue, and have to perform follow this system to achieve the
  specific policy.
• Strictly abide by any procedures and any work instruction concerned.
• To suggest to improve the procedures or work instruction properly.
• Monitoring and privative the effect of working to environment. To reduce the

  environmental impact which caused by the working activities.
• Prepare the procedure or work instruction as the case may be.
• Provide the training course about the procedures of work instruction to the concerned staff to understand and take action.
• Management work tasks assigned by direct or indirect superior, manger, MD.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 3 years’ experience as Design Engineer in Civil work.
• Civil Engineer with strong leadership, competent and hardworking.
  Computer literate (STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, Excel, Word, etc.)
• Good communication skill in English, both oral and written.
• Preparation of shop detail drawings and erection drawings.
