Job Description: 

- Conduct shop-floor activity analyses, interviews, data gathering and analysis and compile into improvement opportunities.
- Support the site leadership in improvement project idea generation, project chartering, action planning and implementation.
- Local contact for Continuous Improvement related initiatives including Lean Six Sigma
- Train operators & managers in tools and standards
- Implement necessary support structures to ensure sustainability e.g. performance management and 5S

Qualification:

- Bachelor of Industrial Engineering or relates field.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

• Preferably to have work in a paint or chemical industry for a min of 3 years.
• Possess at least 1-2 years working experience in a laboratory.
• Familiar with SPC programs and utilization of the data leading to improvements.
• Possess sound rationale thinking and application to resolving technical issues.
• Preferred experience in an unionized environment with basic CA and Labour Law understanding.
•  Good written and verbal communication skills, good documentation skills, ability to work under tight timeline pressures, good organizational skills.
