Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the IT function, implement and control IT policies/standards, liaise with regional/functional managers to understand their current and future information needs
  • Direct and manage over all IT infrastructure, with the objective to make the most effective and efficient use of IT resources
  • Lead, supervise and manage IT team to ensure smooth day to day operations as well as meeting with standard guidelines
  • Lead and promote team with Digital Transformation mindset
  • Oversee all technology operations and evaluating them according to established goals
  • Oversee technology risk management including data protection security, disaster recovery plan (core insurance system, supporting information systems, front and back-end systems)
  • Manage all of the IT resources to fully utilize and ensure maximum efficiency with responsibility for hiring, evaluation, training, coaching and guidance
  • Develop standard operating procedures allied to best practice, and ensure written protocols and guidelines are provided for IT staff and all end-users.
  • Purchase efficient and cost effective technological equipment and software
  • Keep up-to-date with the most recent technologies and advising on what new technological solutions and their implementation will meet business and systems requirements
  • Ensure full compliance to regulations and built sustainable relationship with respective authorities.
  • Monitor information security risk, assess company security measures, policies and rectify any issues
  • Support all related departments on IT to ensure smooth operations
  • Drive innovation
  • Improve the operating standards and ensure the alignment with standard guidelines
  • Partner with CEO & Executives to develop IT/digital strategy aligned with business strategies
  • Drive IT & Digital transformation in-business and facilitate move to shared service IT operating model for IT through obtaining business requirements & converting into IT specifications
  • Promote a culture of ethical business conduct and prudent risk management throughout the business
Qualifications
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science/Systems or equivalent experience
  • Experience in management level required
  • A broad technology background in infrastructure and operations is required
  • Leadership/ people management
  • Coaching, giving advice, and talent development
  • Decision making
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Change Management (being a change sponsor)
