The candidate is in charge of launching E commerce strategy. He/She is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders (Store Operations, Order Fulfillment, Inventory, Digital Marketing and I.T.) to assist in all aspects of the E-commerce business including business planning, content strategy and development, promotional campaigns, product merchandising, website design, customer service, web analytics, and web technologies. This position is responsible for the development and management of the user experience of the online direct sales business including site navigation, content, development, checkout funnel, promotional campaigns and omni-channel fulfillment.

Responsibilities

  • Provides directions, inspirations and guidance for e-commerce in a manner that drives efficiency and increases productivity so that the required KPIs, revenue and profitability can be achieved
  • Works closely and coordinates with all stakeholders including operations, project management and IT teams to develop appropriate processes and resource requirements to achieve required results
  • Responsible for service level planning and management, maintenance of the production environment infrastructure, production operations, monitoring, and continuous improvement
  • Develops business plans for all delivery destinations, budgets, forecasts and results with respective web store in charge
  • Develops the business plan including the annual budget for E-commerce which will outline objectives, strategy, tactics and milestones to achieve overall financial goals for product sales, margin & operating income not to forget to include strategy on providing excellent shopping experience
  • Manages and provides advice in all e-commerce related IT technologies, platforms, and architectures CRM and e-commerce strategic marketing and emerging technologies/practices
  • Responsible for business systems integration, user interface design, information architecture, web site content management systems and creative design aspects
  • Stays abreast of latest trends and insights in e-commerce, CRM, and digital shopper marketing. Works with stakeholders to improve, develop and advocate new CRM, digital marketing, and E-commerce opportunities
  • Identifies and manages all contractor and vendor relationships and acts as a liaison between the IT department and outside vendors for development and maintenance of the web site
  • Oversees and/or performs complex projects with conflicting deadlines simultaneously
  • Analyses and provides e-commerce and marketing industry trends, competitors, distribution channels, customer base, promotion, and products
  • Oversees the day-to-day planning and execution of content across the websites including product & promotional merchandising, online marketing campaigns, website design, customer service, web analytics, and web technologies
  • Analyzes and assesses the effectiveness of all E-commerce operations and make recommendations for improvements
  • Analyzes web usage trends and improve or add functionality to web store platform
  • Collaborates with global and local functional teams and business units to ensure smooth end-to-end execution of global and local initiatives
  • Drives E-commerce business requirements into Operations and IT platforms/process
  • Manages external vendors to define/meet systems requirements; optimize system performance
  • Operational Excellence - Drives functions to achieve quality and on-time delivery metrics. Ensure commitments for functionality and innovation are delivered timely within the budget

The Ideal Candidate

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, in a related field,
  • Solid experience in managing complex systems environment, e-commerce systems
  • Experience in e-commerce in retail business
  • Experience with e-commerce monitoring applications, systems capacity management
  • Thorough understanding of project management of the project life-cycle
  • Strong analytic and decision making abilities
  • Creative business thinking and open-minded. Ability to convert information into insights
  • Integrity - deals with others in a straightforward and honest manner, is accountable for actions, maintains confidentiality, supports company values, and conveys good news and bad.
  • Strong perseverance to achieve targets and results, set challenging goals, teams’ standards, and priorities, overcome obstacles, accept accountabilities, provide leadership/motivation

Language skills

  • English, Full professional proficiency (mandatory)
  • Thai, Native or bilingual proficiency (ideal but not mandatory)
