Officer, Buyer-Lamphun

                                                                       ( Temporary 6 months)

KEY OBJECTIVES:

• Complete purchasing activities for indirect materials and other categories
• Track day-to-day performance and order status of indirect materials and other categories

KEY DUTIES:

• Handle and proceed order fulfilment process of all Purchases and related documentations (Contract/PO/Delivery timeline)
• Secure all official PO/Contract and approved by Senior manager/ Director/ VP before release to suppliers
• Prepare and maintain purchasing record, report and price list
• Monitor and track supplier performance and feedback include on time delivery, quality, specification and corrective action
• Provide initiatives of project improvement for purchasing strategy to maintain consistently high standard of services
• Handle suppliers' concerns and issues regarding the execution of order fulfillment process and escalates issues when needed
• Provide analysis and report key functional metrics to improve effectiveness
• Accountability and transparency on sourcing of indirect materials and services
• Collaborate with internal stakeholder and support their requirements in sourcing process
• Manage the cost competitiveness from category included with RFQ on sourcing (Request of quotation)
• Supplier selecting, recognize the need under sourcing procedure

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain & Logistic or related field
• At least 2-3 years of experience in procurement or sourcing in manufacturing; background in facility & utilities sourcing or tooling or spare part sourcing is preferable.
• Extensive experience in contract negotiations and supplier relationship management
• Ability to manage tradeoffs between optimal supplier and stakeholders’ preference
• Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills
• Knowledge of purchasing and supply chain and MRP/ERP systems
• Strong analytical & negotiation skills
• Positive attitude, strong problem-solving and multitasks
• Ability to make effective decisions under pressure and work to deadline
• Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
• Fair-good level of English communication skill in reading, writing skill
• Able to handle jobs within limited time line.
• background in sourcing for building and repairing jobs, technician jobs will be appreciate ka; or sourcing engineer will be great

Salary

• 20K-22K/month
• Working condition: Mon-Fri (08:00-17:30) >> Sat (OT: 08:00-17:00)
