Position Summary

The Business Development Manager for Thailand is responsible to increase the brand awareness and the position of our company within Thailand. He or she will be tasked with growing our business by setting up a network with architects, designers, owner of commercial property and hotel chain to build up good relationships between the companies. He or she will also be tasked to set up new sales channel partners to serve the Thailand market for the company.


  1. Overall responsibilities:
  • Responsible for growth & profitability of the company within the territory.
  • Implement strategy to ensure the attainment of revenue & profitability of the company.
  • Represents the company in relation with the customers, with business and non-business communities.
  1. Business Development:
  • Achieved sales KPI.
  • Built up Thailand business market and company branding in the building and construction industry.
  • Develops & implements business plans to ensure attainment of revenue and profitability of the company’s business in Thailand.
  • Supports sales teams in preparation of sales proposal and presentations.
  • Provides timely feedback to the management regarding performance.
  • Adheres all the company policies, procedures and business ethic code and ensured that there are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Prepares monthly sales report, yearly budget and any financial report the management may require for the business.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plan if needed.
  1. Account Management:
  • Create, develop and maintain contacts with all clients/ customers/ partners/ official bodies in the market place to ensure high levels of client satisfaction, promote company branding and to sustain a long-term business relationship.
  • Response to all stakeholders’ needs and enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Work closely with superior, regional head office in Singapore, cross functional team to identify gaps in the products/ services to make improvement.
  • To solved problem that might arise from complaints and pitfalls in customer communication and seek continuous improvement.
  1. People Management:
  • Assist local GM to recruits the right candidate based on criteria agreed with the management.
  • Assist local GM to responsible for performance, training and development for all staffs.
  • Support the company to retain high performing staff.
  • Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
  • Guide all staffs to meets or exceed all activities standards according to their JDs.


  1. Work Experience
    • 3 to 6 years of business development experience in the building and construction or related industries such as electrical system or lighting system .
    • Excellent account management experience.
    • Excellent relationship-building, communication and presentation skills.
    • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
    • Strong network of developers, international hotel chain and architects is preferred.
    • Understanding of the IoT, Smart Home and Hospitality Guestroom Management Systems will be preferred.
  1. Education
    • Degree in Engineering, Business Management or Marketing.
  1. Personality
    • Self-assured appearance in presentations.
    • Collaborative skills and flexibility.
    • Leadership quality that able to lead local team with respect.
  1. Physical Requirement
    • Must be willing and able to travel around the country for business meeting.
  1. IT Skills / Languages / Others
    • Capable of working using MS Office Suite and computer system.  Particularly with MS PowerPoint and Social Media (such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Corporate Website).
    • Proficient in written and spoken English and any additional language is beneficial.
    • Good communication and presentation skill.
    • Good relationship management skill.
    • Hands-on Attitude.
    • Has a high degree of business acumen.
