Summary of the position:

  • Lead and execute marketing & trade marketing initiatives in Indochina (Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos)
  • Manage current product portfolio as well as new product development across markets. Develop communication, adapt regional assets to local market needs. Identify future growth opportunities
  • Collaborate and manage projects in partnership with local and global cross functional teams, both internal and external.
  • Deliver ambitious growth and P&L targets for Indochina
  • Embrace agility, speed and bias for action: There are no boundaries, only opportunities!


  • Implementation of brand strategies across countries
  • Establish the brand’s footprint, make the brand top of mind for consumers to win at the point of sale
  • Develop / Localize brand communication with a focus on digital first  
  • Maximize new product and launch opportunities with full project responsibility & ownership, from idea to store
  • Develop and implement superior advertising and promotion strategies
  • Identify point of sale opportunities to drive visibility, impact on shelf and distribution
  • Identify future growth opportunities on e-commerce and partnership building
  • Regular assessment of advertising, trade and promotion strategies and projects
  • Ensure packaging/pricing /promotion activities are in line with strategies
  • Ensure business unit is up to date with shares/growth and trends of portfolio and competitors
  • Monthly update to Leadership Team; monthly management of P&L and spends
  • Ad hoc business analysis and research studies as required
  • Conduct marketing research that deliver sound concept and idea for growth
  • Corporate goals are agreed as per year objective set.

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a strong level of leadership, ownership of results, orientation and drive
  • Must work well independently with minor supervision and have the ability to lead cross functional, cross country meetings
  • Must thrive under a high level of complexity in terms of dealing with processes, different country conditions, and different country regulations
  • Works well in a team environment, encouraging and motivating others
  • Demonstrate very strong problem solving skills that lead to getting the job done under tight timelines
  • Strong conceptual, problem solving and creative thinking skills
  • Computer literacy; skills on Excel, Powerpoint and other MS Office programs is a must
  • Possess sound communication skills, successfully facilitating communication within the organization on a timely basis
  • Embrace speed, agility and action for bias
  • Being creative and dare to embark change
