Summary of the position

The role is to lead and manage a selection of Retail Own Brand beauty and skincare products. The Brand Manager will execute the brand strategies (marketing, ranging, merchandising, price, promotion, product knowledge and inventory management) to maximise sales, strengthen the brands’ reputation, improve customer experience and drive growth of Retail Own Brand.


  •          Develop sales promotions, brand activities and marketing plans to improve trial, consideration and sales of the brands.
  •          Deliver sales strategies (price, promotion, store staff training & engagement) to increase brand performance and strengthen the brand reputations.
  •          Review brand performance, brand competitiveness and product trends in the Thai market to inform ranging decisions.
  •          Manage inventory forecasts and total stockholding levels to be within target.
  •          Adhere to brand visual displays and standards as per the retailer’s requirements.
  •          Work in collaboration with cross functional teams such as Regional Brand Development teams, Supply Chain, Marketing and Retail operations.
  •          Analyse current sales and prepare forecasted demand based on historical data and prevailing market conditions.
  •          Report and present brand performance and strategies to key stakeholders.


  •          Analyse how brands are positioned in the Thai market and formulate targeted Thai consumer insights, and local strategies
  •          Full ownership of the local Brand Plan to execute the brand strategy to achieve sales targets, targeting the Thai consumer.
  •          Measure and report performance of all sales and marketing campaigns and assess against ROI and KPIs.
  •          Make commercially informed ranging decisions, selecting new products from assortment, forecasting volumes, managing new product launch plan end-to-end, including taking decisions to discontinue unproductive items. 
  •          Manage all aspects of the promotional plan, setting mechanics to maximize profitability and ensure the accuracy during implementation at the stores.
  •          Work with Merchandising team and Marketing team to ensure that visual displays of the Brand are aligned with the Brand directions and maintain the Brand visual standards.
  •          Work with Marketing team to brief local marketing campaigns to target local Thai consumer, and oversee end-to-end activation of all marketing activity
  •          Work with Merchandising team to brief and implement the display planners according to merchandising updates.
  •          Conduct regular reviews with Supply team to ensure stock levels are in line with the forecasted sales, take corrective measures to reduce ageing / slow moving/obsolete stock.
  •          Engage with Retail team and Learning & Development team to ensure brand and product knowledge is trained to store staff, and maintain a high level of store engagement in the Brands.
  •          Conduct store and competitor visits, analyse market trends, consumer preferences and competitors activities to identify opportunities and key issues.
  •          Work in partnership with UK and Regional teams to provide inputs for improving brand performance in Thai market.
  •          Line management responsibilities for the Brand Coordinator, who directly reports to this position.


  •          University graduate in Marketing or related field.
  •          Proficient in MS-Office especially advanced EXCEL skill.
  •          Highly proficient in English, both writing and verbal.
  •          Excellent communication skill both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal skills.
  •          Can demonstrate experience of working with high attention to detail, detailed data and with accuracy.
  •          Strong numerical and analytical skill in using data and/or market information to derive strategies, action plans and decision making.


  • More than 5 years work experience in brand management especially skincare / personal care products, or retail brands.
  • Experience working in/for international businesses.


  • Passion for skincare, beauty products, and health and beauty.
  • Good sense of market trends and industry knowledge, with passion for retail and understanding customers’ needs.
  • Professional attitude and confident with multi-tasking.
  • Attention to details and result oriented.
  • Good problem solving skill.
  • Flexible in responding to changing priorities.
  • Has “can-do” and positive attitude.
  • Appetite for improvement and innovation.
