CPF IT Center was founded in 2002 as a subsidiary of CPF.  Its major responsibility is to provide information technology services to companies within the CPF Group.

Position: Business Intelligence Developer / Data Engineer

Successful candidates will join CPF ITs Big Data and Analytics team to provide business intelligence and data analytics solutions to domestic and overseas business units in CPF, including retail channels (CP Freshmart, Chester, etc.), Farms and Feed.

Responsibilities:

• Develop BI and analytics applications (ETL/ELT, Enterprise Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Dashboard / Reports, analytics) based on given software requirements, following team guidelines and programming conventions
• Unit test developed applications
• Solve issues such as software bugs, or configuration problems
• Interact with implementers and users to gather or clarify business requirements
• Interpret business requirements to software requirement
• Prepare application usage guidelines and communicate with users
• Innovate or apply IT knowledge to increase the efficiency of the task or reduce cost to maximize profit
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information System or an IT related field.
• Experience in database query language (SQL) is a must
• Knowledge in Google cloud products, such as Big Data, Query, Cloud Function, Pub/Sub, AI Platform will be advantage
• Knowledge in machine/statistical learning, data mining is a plus
• Good command in English.
• Able to work effectively as team spirit as well as independent project assignments.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
