Job  Description

• Development Workshop Business with Sales Team with joint customer visit
• To keep the design team leader and Heads of departments informed of progress on
• The day to day safe and efficient running of the mechanical workshop.
• Monitor budgets for the purchase of materials, fixings and fastenings and machine tools to ensure the smooth progression of projects through the workshop
• Maintaining a database of everything purchased work done and by whom
• Monitor the quality of the work carried out and performs incoming and outgoing inspection on all parts and assemblies or delegates that work
• Planning and monitoring work within the workshop, supervising the space instrument makers
• Undertaking manufacturing and assembly jobs during busy periods
• Manage stock levels ( e.g. materials, fixings and tooling )
• General administration for personnel and record keeping
• Maintaining safe working practices, keeping COSHH information up to date and ensuring everybody is conversant with this information
• Quality control

Professional: 

• University Degree / Technical and/or Commercial/ Engineering
• Fluent in English and Thai both speaking and writing
• 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Excellent technical skills experience
• Knowledge on a developed and proven understanding of how design and development operates in industry.
• Proficient at Microsoft Office
• ERP (SAP) System knowledge
• New/Used Industrial Trucks Asset management experience
• Management and Supervisory experience for at least 4 years
• Knowledge of New/Used Material Handling Equipment business

Job specifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master degree in a related field.
• Management experience and Engineering knowledge an advantage.
• Good English Language skills.
• Computer literate with Word, Excel, outlook and PowerPoint. Exposure to SAP desirable.

• Exposure to customer service sector.

General Duties：

• To manage a team of Field Service Technicians to meet customer service expectation through defined After Sales processes. Must follow agreed financial and operational targets, ensuring a high financial turnover and optimize productivity of his Service team by applying standard procedures, controlling instruments and meeting routines.

Tasks in operating cycle:        

• Maintain an optimal infrastructure (human resources, skills and tools) to deliver agreed customer service levels, financial After Sales targets as well as defined operational After Sales KPI’s in close relation with service support functions (dispatch / service admin / service controlling / technical training) and sales.
• Ensuring a high financial turnover and optimize productivity of service technicians applying standard procedures, controlling instruments and meeting routines.
• Report on agreed financial and operational targets (KPI’s) in regular After Sales Meeting.
• Ensure and continuously improve service contract management in close relationship with service support functions (dispatch / service admin / controlling).
• Conduct scheduled review meetings with customer where required and proactively deal with and solve any issues including customer complaints and invoice queries.
• Ensure adherence to defined After Sales processes and procedures in close relationship with service support functions.
• Ensure optimal team motivation and well-being of the team (service technicians) needed to achieve defined target performances. This should be trough regular 1:1 yearly appraisals and ensuring all training identified is delivered.
• Ensure technicians work within agreed Health and Safety guidelines.
• Continuously seek for and help to implement best practice processes to achieve maximum customer satisfaction, efficiency and profitability.
• Help to grow the After Sales business by identifying business opportunities within the existing customer base in close conjunction with Service Sales.

In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the After Sales Manager.
