H&P is looking for an Associate lawyer with a Lawyer License to join our team in Bangkok. Our law firm with an office in Sukhumvit is growing very fast in 2021, despite the pandemic, and our professional works related to dispute resolution, legal proceedings, litigation cases, Criminal and Civil Law and corporate due diligences is increasing on a monthly base. We are looking for a lawyer with a multi-disciplinary vision of the law practice to work in a small team of Foreign and Thai legal Advisors. Holding a Lawyer License is a must and previous experience in Litigation would be valuable for us.

You will work under the Managing Partner instructions (a foreign legal consultant) and with a team of Thai lawyers. You work will involve attending negotiations, Police Stations, Court proceedings, DBD and providing ideas to be implement in legal strategies proceedings in Thailand representing mainly foreigners from all over the world.

The candidate will be involved in legal works such as: Shareholder Disputes, Land Disputes, Extraditions, Legal opinions, Criminal Law, DBD registrations, Civil Law Proceedings, International Trade disputes, FDA applications, commercial litigation, licenses to operate businesses as well as due diligences and public procurement work.

Scope of legal works:

• Represent clients in Court and Thai administration
• Set up companies for our clients
• Draft court proceeding documents, bails and filing documents with courts and other authorities
• Prepare legal opinions and memorandums
• Draft applications for obtaining licenses
• Due diligence proceedings and legal research
• Attend meetings with public officers and hearings

Qualifications:

• Thai speaker
• Bachelor of Law or higher
• Lawyer License is a must
• Previous experience in the international law firm or consulting firm would be a plus
• "Think out of the box" mentality and ambitious
• Self-confident, energetic, mature and having proactive attitude
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and relationship-building skills
• Able to work independently and complete assignments within the deadline
• Fluent in English, both speaking and writing
• Good command of computer literacy especially in MS Office
