Assistant Contracting Manager (Phuket)

Job Descriptions (JD)

• Manage and monitor the Control & Contracting team ensuring that the installation works of all projects meet targets in term of quality, time and cost.
• Assist project managers/project engineers in resolving any problems and customer concern issues of all ongoing projects.
• Understand current status of all contracting projects at any point in time.
• Evaluation and selection of sub-contractor and equipment for contracting projects.
• Weekly meeting with the project team to review progress and any issues including revenue forecast of all ongoing projects.
• Planning and review revenue forecast to ensure that it will be accurate and meet AOP.
• Oversee the project budgets prepared/updated by the project managers who are responsible for overall project profitability, ensuring that cost will not overrun.
• Review staff performance and coaching to fill the gap in any necessary areas.
• Work closely with Estimation and Sale team for potential/key projects ensuring that the scope of work is covered and corrected, meet the client requirement and comply with TOR.
• Manage the budget effectively and looking for cost saving, and finding an opportunity for any additional work or new project from the customer.
• New task as assigned by supervisor.

Qualification :-

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical industrial or Equal/ Electrical Engineering or any related field
• Broad understanding of business and contracting.
• Project management knowledge.
• At least 10-15 Years experience of working in the design, engineering, installation and commissioning of BMS systems.
• At least six years project management experience.
• Leadership Skills: Must have the ability to direct, manage and influence subordinates.
• Team Building Skills: Must have the ability to work as a team member and manage subordinates into an organized team or teams.
• Decision Marking skills: Must be able to evaluate information objectively to arrive at logical conclusions.
• Financial management skills: Must have the ability to manipulate and interpret financial data to achieve project profit goals.
• Negotiation skills: Must have proven ability to confer with customers and suppliers.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Software Skills must have the ability to use Windows/Microsoft office, financial software and project management software.
