Job Description

Prime Responsibilities 

Business Support:

  • Recruit & train new team members 
  • Review and improve daily processes (accounting practices, tax optimization, cash management etc.
  • Coordinate with other departments for processes integration and efficiency gains
  • Support in improving clients AR & AP management

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a Team of Accountants.
  • Assist in development and implementation of new procedures to enhance the workflow of the department
  • Ensure that billing, collection, and reporting activities are carried out as per specified
  • Manage daily accounting operations, safeguarding accurate daily records of clients’ & vendors’ transactions
  • Review the reconciliation of bank statements against GL and Cash Book.
  • Secure FA depreciation, Journal entries (GL)
  • Reconcile tax reports as per accounting/ tax requirements
  • Weekly/monthly checklist reconciliation (BS, P&L, ledgers etc.)
  • Review of monthly Intercompany transactions
  • Supervise month end closing: assist in preparation of schedules, financial statements, and management reports.
  • Prepare and ensure timely submission of monthly/yearly tax returns.
  • Coordinate local annual GAAP audits compliance with external auditors.
  • Regularly update, learn and gain knowledge of local accounting and tax regulations, practices and procedures, tax software.
  • Any other ad hoc projects assigned by Management

The ideal candidate should bear 5 to 10 years’ experience. The candidate is a “hands-on” good strategic thinker with exceptional analytical talent:

  • Knowledge in tax and compliance;

  • Knowledge about taxation and law.
  • Problem-solving skills;
  •  University degree in Accounting
  •  CPD Certified
  •  CPA is a plus
  •  Good IT knowledge, proficient in MS Windows, Excel, Word, etc.
  •  Good oral & written English
