Summary of Job Contents :

Responsible for consultation and technical advisory in the process of component, system and service selling related with specific needs of Electronic Light Assembly (ELA) and Automotive (AMI) industry segments. Assists sales force and customers in the selection and acquisition of products needed to fulfill application requirements.

Responsibilities: 

• Effectively handle assigned customers through consultative selling and the technical understanding of industry-specific applications.
• Define and promote standard applications/solutions.
• Coach sales team for application know how to increase their ability to recognize application opportunities.
• Support Sales Engineer by directly working with customer’s design team during pre-phase to identify & develop opportunities in ELA/AMI industry segments.
• Lead projects with Sales Engineer, Technical Service Team and Cluster Engineering Centre to fulfil the opportunities
• Support sales team and customer service team to provide technical consultancy to customers from ELA and AMI industry segments.
• Present products, suggest selections that meet customer’s needs, and emphasize selling points of article such as quality and benifit. Recommend additional products related to customer needs.
• Work closely with other colleagues on proposals/costing and recommendations for customers needs.
• Maintain accurate records and files according to Festo quality standard.
• Perform other related duties that may be assigned/requested from time to time by the Technical Manager or Country Manager.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-4 years experience in processing Factory Automation, Machine Design, Electrical Actuator and PNEUMATICS.
• Proficient in CAD (like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) Motion Control and Microsoft Office Application.
• Preferably to involve with design process.
• Preferably with some direct experiences in the relevant industry environments (production, process, packing lines).
• Preferably with some experiences in pre-sales support and/or project management.
• Good interpersonal skills, result and time driven.
• Good communication skills with all levels of people.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic , Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• Able to travel in up-country.
• Good/Proficient communication skills in both written and spoken English.
• Good knowledge of Pneumatic  applications or control automation system  is an advantaged.
