Our client is the No.1 German tooling manufacturing company. They are now looking for an Application Engineer to join their team.

Job Description:

• Giving technical support to external sales and customers covering North ASEAN territory. During the first 2 years will be focusing on 70% in Thailand, 30% in Vietnam, while the other 3 countries are occasionally.
• Being the middleman and having the ability to communicate effectively in HQ in Germany/Austria to a local organization for Technical Inquiries.
• Reporting directly to Head of North ASEAN.
• Representing the company for external contacts like a government agency, wood-working machinery suppliers, and other interest stakeholders.
• Exploring new business, new customers, a new application.
• Assuring accuracy of customs orders entry, drawings & other necessary technical clarifications.
• Being responsible for sales of 60 million baht per year as share success to Sales of North ASEAN team.

Qualifications:

• Education in Engineer field.
• Good command of English communication.
• Ability to travel overseas Germany & North ASEAN region.
• Experience for 3-5 years of Technical Advisory in any field, preferably in Woodworking, while related-Engineer area acceptable.
• Good communication skills and ability to adapt to Sales/Marketing.
• Ability to work independently.
