Major job functions

• Design, build and customize web applications in PHP
• Reviewing code work for correctness and functionality
• Work closely with project managers to understand business goals and system requirements
• Share knowledge and oversee, support other developers
• Troubleshooting and supporting applications
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
• Learning about new products and technologies 

Qualifications

• Good command of English
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer engineering, Software Engineering or any relevant program
• 3-5 years of experience in software development
• Knowledge and skills to be able to handle front-end is a big plus, but focus is on the back-end
• Expertise in PHP MVC Frameworks e.g. Laravel, Code Ingniter 
• Experience with CMS (WordPress, WooCommerce)
• Proficient understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design
• Working knowledge source code control and branching methodologies, debugging, performance monitoring, benchmarking, logging, and testing tools such as JIRA
• Good understanding of Web analytics and SEO techniques
• Ability to work remotely in both an individual and team-based environment
