Job Description

You will be a part of our CAG (Companion Animal Group) team.
You will sell diagnostic equipment, consumables and tests to Veterinary clinics and hospitals. Acquire new business in existing customer base and acquire new customers leading to an overall increase in the territory revenue. Translate our customer needs into diagnostic solutions through consultative selling techniques. By using your sales skills, you will strengthen relationships and build customer trust and loyalty to ensure effective use of our products and services.

  • Sell diagnostic equipment, consumables and rapid tests to veterinary clinics and hospitals.
  • Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual target Revenue and growth goals for assigned area of Thailand through new account acquisition and existing account development.
  • Execute sales campaign, marketing programs and related sales activities.
  • Execute efficient customer visiting plan and territory management.
  • Educate and train veterinary clinic staff on products, services and marketing initiatives.
  • Elevate issues to customer service when appropriate. Work as ‘One team’ with marketing and technical service.
  • Build strong relationship with customers and manage the relationship by understanding and then fulfilling the customers' needs.
  • Define and verify customer needs and expectations. Communicate customer needs/issues to marketing organization and business unit manager.
  • Proactively collect and feedback market information and industry dynamic (including competitor activities)
  • Submit regular sales reports, potential customer report, instrument pipeline management, customer case report management, sales performance analyzes using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Represent IDEXX mission, values and principles in all dealings with customers and markets.
  • Attend trade shows and other educational events.
  • Communicate competitive issues to marketing organization and business unit manager



Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Major in medical technology, Veterinary or related medical background is a plus.


At least 3 years of sales experience in B2B. (Medical equipment sales experience in the veterinary or human medical industry is a plus. Experience in the veterinary industry is a plus)

  • Demonstrated strong sales and closing skills. Documented track record of success in achieving sales goals.
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills – ability to build strong customer relationships and build outstanding relationships with customers & colleagues.
  • Highly motivated and goal oriented. Willingness to take challenge and work under pressure.
  • Positive & logic thinking, well organized, willing to learn and able to learn fast.
  • General computer software knowledge including Word, Excel, Power Point etc.
  • Must be professionally mature, and able to adapt to independent and team-oriented environment.
  • Good working knowledge in English is a plus
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Knowledge of the veterinary industry and/or veterinary diagnostics is a plus.

  • Extensive travel required within the assigned area.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

  • Two days off in a week.
  • Limited weekend work.
  • Exposure to veterinary clinics.
