Lenzing Thailand, a new subsidiary of Lenzing Group with a state of the art fiber manufacturing site to be built in Prachinburi Chemical Park is currently looking for a Utility & Waste Water Treatment Plant Shift Supervisor. This entity is part of the global Lenzing Group which is recognized as the world leader in Cellulose Fiber Technology, using a highly eco-friendly process for our global customer base.
The successful incumbent will be responsible in managing, oversee and direct the day-to-day activities of the utility operating plant. He will be involved in providing support in continuous improvement of safety, health, environmental management, product quality, production volume and operating cost
Process responsibility:

Provide consistent and effective management & supervision for the utility department shift teams
-
Facilitate close cooperation and effective transfer of information between the utility manager/engineer and the utility shift operators

Support the training & development of the utility shift operators
-
Maintain discipline, teamwork and morale
Principal Accountability / Main Task:
-
Support the recruitment, training & development of the utility shift operators and build effective teams
-
Ensure that required periodic personal performance reviews & follow up are completed and documented

Participate in the detail planning for commissioning and startup of the utility systems
-
Closely supervise the shift utility operators to ensure all established practices and procedures are followed

Ensure that the utility shift operators identify and report all safety incidents or near misses promptly

Establish a utility activity plan and reporting structure

Ensure that the stability and quality of the supplied utilities effectively supports the overall site operation

Develop and communicate specific KPI’s by area and ensure these are measured & reported
-
Ensure that all shift utility operators understand their role to deliver against the specific KPI’s

Investigate and report incidents affecting safety, quality, reliability or efficiency.

Identify improvement opportunities that will result in improved safety, qualty, productivity and cost
-
Coordinate activities of the utility operation with other functions of the organization
-
Provide rapid response to utility problems which need to be fixed on an urgent basis
Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
-
At least High Vocational Certificate in either Mechanical / E & I or Petrochemical
-
At least 5 years of experience as a utility shift supervisor in the FMCG, F&B or chemical sector
-
Being able to work on a shift pattern.
-
Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
-
Direct hands-on experience of utility systems such as compressed air, chillers, water & waste water treatment, boilers, steam distribution etc.

Good computer skills including MS Office
-
Good Communication in English (Verbal and Writing).

Ability to work effectively in a diverse multicultural team
-
Proven capability to lead, train and develop people and build effective teams
-
Good listening skills, strong coaching/mentoring skills and strong delegation & follow-through ability.
