The Unit Supervisor (equivalent to Shift Supervisor or Boardman for our New Plant or Backfill in the existing Lactic Plant) is responsible for controlling and monitoring production processes including activities in the processes and process parameters via Distributed Control System (DCS) or at process areas to achieve output targets set i.e. safety, quality and costs.

To further strengthen our leadership position in an attractive growth market of lactic acid and derivatives, we have decided to build a new lactic acid plant at our existing site of Purac (Thailand) Ltd. in Rayong Province. We will invest approximately US$190 million in a new 125,000 metric tons, operating at the highest sustainability standards and lowest costs. This results that we will have production capability of lactic acid in our Thailand site of almost 300,000 tons in 2022.
