The Advisor Academy is one
of the leading international test preparation centers in Thailand. We are a home-like institution situated in the heart of Bangkok, Siamsquare Soi 6.
We prepare students, aged 13-20 years old, for their international exams - GED, IGCSE, IELTS, SAT, TOEFL, etc., who would like to apply for international program universities both in Thailand and abroad.
Our goal is to support our students in their academic journey towards university admission and our main duty is to help them ace their exams with confidence. The success of the students is our goal.
We are looking for a committed instructor to join our qualified workforce of educators. You will be responsible for preparing and executing a full educational teaching plan according to the institution’s requirements. It is essential to provide knowledge and instruction to students while also helping them developing their personalities and skills.
The ideal candidate must be passionate for the job and able to reach out to students and create a relationship of “trust”. They will know how to create a fun learning environment making class and learning easy and memorable.

- Full-time English Tutor (for SAT & IELTS, etc.)
- Part-time Math & Physics Tutor (for SAT, IGCSE, BMAT, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Thai nationality (only), not over 30 years old
- At least 2 years of teaching experience
- Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices
- Excellent English language skills IELTS 7.0+/ SAT Verbal 650+/
CU-TEP 95+ / TOEIC 900+ (for English Tutor) - High score for SAT Math 800 (for Math Tutor)
- Possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in related fields from top-tier university in Thailand (Chulalongkorn, Thammasat, or Mahidol) or abroad

Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare students for their international exams
(i.e. GED, IGCSE, IELTS, SAT, TOEFL, BMAT etc.) - Teach assigned subjects
- Part-time: at least 10-12 hours/ week
- Full-time: maximum 80-100 hours/ month (+overtime)
- Presenting lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning
- Providing individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
- Research, design, update, modify, create, and distribute course syllabus, course materials, and other educational contents (notes, summaries, assignments, and projects etc.)
- Write weekly educational contents
- Revise and improve the course materials from time to time
- Generate pre- and post-tests (before and after the lesson)
- Work closely with graphic designers to create visuals, audio-visuals, and other educational contents
- Assess and track record students’ progress and provide feedback
- Observe, understand, and report students’ behaviour and psyche
- Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events
- Work closely with other instructors to support students’ learning experience
- Train other instructors to use the course materials.
- Collaborate with other instructors, parents and personnel and participate in regular meetings
- Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom
- Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences etc.
