Job Description

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Treasury Manager is responsible for managing the organization's treasury function. Treasury Manager protects the business against currency movements, elicit and analyze proposals for banking and financial services. This is to include providing everyday cash position; maintain correct estimation of cash balance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To efficiently measure and manage the treasury function, a Treasury Manager manages a team that performs a wide range of job duties and responsibilities.

  • Monitoring and managing the organization's bank relationships and liquidity management
  • Managing foreign currency exposure and foreign currency payments
  • Analyzing various scenarios and financial risks and reporting to senior management 
  • Forecasting of medium and long- term funding and hedging requirements (if applicable)
  • Manage long term and short term investment strategies.
  • Evaluate the existing investment status (including CAPEX) and the future investment plan
  • Study and advising new investment possibilities to senior management
  • Determine the company tax position and perform the tax saving management
  • Debt facilities management
  • Credit limit management by evaluating customers’ financial status
  • Foreign exchange risk management and development of foreign exchange risk mitigation strategies
  • Supervise all aspect of cash flow, daily cash  management
  • Evaluate, develop and implement cash management systems to optimize efficiencies.
  • Prepare or monitor company’s various cash flow forecasts
  • Review and recommend changes to the investment polices based on market conditions.
  • Preparing management and board reports
  • Prepare new year’s budget consulting with senior management and then, monitor and evaluate the progress and result against budget
  • Liaising with senior management across the organization

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting and MBA in finance is preferred.
  • Possesses the certificate that can sign off accounts for company.
  • Experience managing a Treasury Function with at least 10 – 15 years.
  • Extensive experience in preparing cash forecasts and cash flow analyses.
  • Experience building complex financial model to evaluate financial plans.
  • Experience in preparation of financial schedule including some disclosures.
  • Understanding and experience of treasury accounting including FX, liquidity, cash flow and various financial instruments
  • Deep understanding of accounting principles
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, financial instruments and debt instruments
  • Knowledge of banking relationships and covenants
  • Knowledge of treasury software will be a plus
  • Knowledge of investment portfolio strategy, banking and financial instruments.
  • Advance analytical, organization and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work autonomously and be part of the broader team
  • Appropriate handling of sensitive information
  • Excellent time management and organizational ability
