Job Description

PRTR is working with an international commercial bank to fill the position of Trade Operation Team Lead. We are looking for a qualified candidate who has direct experience in trade function in the banking industry with good leadership and managerial skills.  

Responsibilities: 
  • Managing a team of 6 professionals in trade, treasury and loan operations function.
  • Mainly focusing on trade operations for Thailand branch and coordinate with other operation teams abroad for treasury and loan function.
  • Ensuring smooth daily operations to achieve SLAs and KPIs.
  • Controlling operational risks.
  • Liaising with BOT on regulation and compliance matters.
  • Liaising with other parties both internal and external; such as RM, risk management, customers and banks to ensure an effective response.
  • Maintaining accurate transaction records and reports.
  • Enhancing good service practices within the teams for continuous improvement.
  • Performing other tasks and managing projects as assigned.
Qualifications: 
  • Male or female. Thai nationality only. Aged over 30 years.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Trade products.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in managerial level with team management experience.
  • Familiarity with treasury and loan operations.
  • Experience working in the banking industry is a must.
  • Knowledge and understanding of BOT regulations.
  • Good command of English.
  • Computer literacy, especially MS office. 
  • Open-minded, has initiative, willing to learn with a can-do attitude.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
