Job Description

Responsibilities: 

  • Managing the maintenance of the Tesco Lotus operational standard  by influencing key contacts, apply expert knowledge to business processes and utilise technical assessment.
  • Identifying existing risk and advise on how it can be cost effectively managed.
  • Auditing stores and distribution centres and partnering with external contractors to improve operation processes.
  • Monitoring and ensuring policy is developed, maintained and communicated to meet Food Safety and Quality standard in order to protect customers from risks associated with operational activity.
  • Establishing and nurturing partnerships with stakeholders especially Store and DC to influence Food Safety and Quality guidance and standards and to seek opportunities to achieve operational excellence throughout our business.
  • Creating and developing reports and data insight that escalates issues to key stakeholders.
  • Resolving issues concerned with enforcement officers.
  • Advising on training and operational material to help manager improve standard. 


Qualification:

  • Food Engineering, Food Safety and Quality or related fields with experiences in Food Safety and Quality would be preferable.
  • Strong knowledge in Quality standard; HACCP, GMP, ISO22002 are BIG plus.
