Job Description

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage technical processes for a category by ensuring that products, services and information are consistently delivered to meet customer expectations
  • Manage supplier standard and performance
  • Monitor the safety and quality of products
  • Developing new products and improving the valued for money of existing products
  • Keeping up to date with industry developments through links with external groups
  • Ensuring legality and product complaint

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Food Science, Biotechology, Chemical Engineering or related
  • Experience of  product research and development in various industries
  • GMP/HACCP, ISO9000, ISO22000, Lead Auditor, Ethics Trained (SA8000) preferred
  • Demonstrated negotiation, presentation, supplier and stakeholder management skills
  • Good command of English. 
  • Knowledge/experience in quality system. Possesses commercial acumen
  • High energy, positive attitude, proactive, flexibility and effectiveness
  • Able to travel upon assignment
