Job Description

Tasks & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Operation - Two Wheel Tires, to ensure delivery reliability as confirmed under consideration of costs and customer-specific requirements. Coordination of handling and freight related services from production-warehouse until shipments destination.

  • Plausibility check of production FC on article level, if necessary coordinate with SCP Team
  • Check and evaluate of plausibility and feasibility of the weekly  Master-plan - 12 weeks
  • Maintains maintenance of article related system parameters (Production Planning Systems)
  • Actively identify future supply chain issues (e.g. capacity shortage; row material shortage)
  • Responsible for article related PSI (Production Sales Inventory)
  • Production proposal based on continuous planning for 5 weeks and a proposal for the next 3/12 month
  • Evaluate material demand based on production forecast and provide to interfaces
  • Responsible for all inventories along the total supply chain (Row Materials; Semi finished Goods)
  • Ensure delivery reliability per article as confirmed
  • Ensure feasibility of the shipment plan, monitoring and control of inventories in production warehouse
  • Handle customs related processes based on central requirements
  • Performance-tracking with regards to warehouse- and freight-forwarder
  • Collaborate closely with central logistic and central SCP functions of Tire division and Two Wheel
  • Coordination of unconfirmed orders and current/unplanned demands in consideration of already confirmed demands (exception handling)

Skills & Experience

  • University degree in business or engineering with specialization in logistics and/or production engineering
  • Over 3 Years work experience in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management, Distinct planning and organisation skills
  • Project management experience as a project team member
  • Good command in English.
  • Multi national working experience as a plus
