Job Description

  • Be responsible for developing a multi-year sourcing strategy with estimated costs and potential savings based on identified opportunities, expected demand and contract renewal timing.
  • Identify strategic sourcing opportunities for cost savings and margin improvement, communicate, educate and obtain support for strategic sourcing methodology and process from subject matter experts and key stakeholders.
  • Lead sourcing initiatives to ensure that goods and services are obtained at the lowest cost consistent with company.  requirements for quality, performance, service and availability, and meet or exceed established performance goals for savings, margin improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage sourcing deals and contracts ensuring the commercial and cost saving benefits are realized at the P&L level.
  • Drive key supplier relationships including monitoring and measuring performance relative to contract terms and conditions, service level agreement and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure product categories and item classification in the ERP are set up and regularly reviewed.
  • Ensure world class customer service is achieved.
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing policies and procedures, define plans that close current gaps and ensure compliance.
  • Create an environment that encourages and rewards teamwork and collaboration, both internally and externally.
  • Build your team's capabilities.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related discipline.
  • Experience in strategic sourcing of MRO products.
  • Strong business acumen and experience managing complex supply chains and cost models.
  • Ability to think strategically and communicate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and apply problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence across multiple teams, creating effective internal business partnerships.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and work effectively under deadlines.
  • Ability to independently lead teams and execute on functional responsibilities.
