Job Description

Position:                   Store Operation Manager

Location:                  MRT Rama 9 station (store: West of Bangkok)

Salary Range:           Up to 80K

Working Hours:         Mon - SAT 

Key Responsibilities:

  • lead setting up of the whole operational processes, rules, environment and hiring to open the store (until Store opens and stabilizes)
  • responsible for all Store operation management
  • Until Store Opens
  • coordinate and discuss with internal teams (buyers, imports, marketing, admin) to make core plan to open Store
  • create, implement and execute SOP for different functions (store staffs, back offices, logistics etc)
  • manpower planning to operate Store stably, and lead hiring and securing needed manpower by opening (expected team size: around 12-15 store staffs (6-8 staffs per shift))
  • create store operation manual
  • lead necessary applications, or getting approvals from relevant government offices (ex. tax, certificate…)
  • plan Store Opening Promotions events, method and/or advertisement 
  • After Store Opened:
  • ensure and manage the entire operation of Store
  • manpower planning and management (ex. plan shift, train leaders, trainings for various purposes etc)
  • ensure the security of Store space, stock space, and other spaces
  • monitor and manage daily operation to be smoothly run
  • sales management and reporting
  • stock management, forecast, order based on analysis 
  • Marketing and Promotion
  • plan how to sell products, how to present them in Store, flyers to promote the products, which to be distributed in the store
  • create point-of-purchase advertising (POP) and/or spotters for the products want to get more attention
  • discuss with Buyers team to create how to display products in the stores
  • coordinate, communicate and/or liaise with other internal teams 

Key Qualifications:

  • Japanese Language: MUST HAVE (to communicate with MD and Japan HQ in details regarding opening plan etc)
  • 5+ years' experience of Store Operation Manager at mid
  • large size Retail Business Store      
  •  overall store operation experience mentioned above
  • hiring and management of store staffs
  • able to relocate or at least stay for few months at around industrial area (west of Bangkok) until store opening
  • hold driver's license and able to drive (prefer to own a car)
  • experience of opening New Store, and knows what needs to be done to lead opening
  • lives in Chachoengsao is acceptable (need to go to Head Office 1 time per week)
