Sourcing Manager (Rubber Industry)

Position:                      Sourcing Manager
Job Type:                    Permanent
Location:                     chachoengsao
Working Day:             5 days per week
Salary Range:             50 – 70K

Responsibilities:

• Understand business requirements and ensure timely inclusion to sourcing plans.
• Source for new supplier and manage related price negotiation, contracts and payment terms with them.
• Works closely with sales team and manage sourcing activities in accordance to the business and customers’ requirements
• Manage sourcing activities for all products which includes new product launching, sampling management and product approval processes.
• Conducts general market research which includes reviewing potential suppliers, supplier analysis, materials specifications and resources and manage supplier qualification process.
• Develop sourcing plans which includes requests for proposal, conducts supplier evaluation and propose potential suppliers for management’s decision making.
• Solve sourcing related issues independently. 
• Manage supplier contract validity, and related re-negotiation as needs arise and ensure up-to-date contract records

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Material Engineering or any related field.
• Possess at least 10 years+ of progressive procurement and local & oversea sourcing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Relevant experience in Polyurethane & Polyethylene foam, Rubber Sponge, Industrial Adhesive Tape, Industrial Film, Fleece & Felts, Rubber Sheet material is preferably and add advantage
• Good command of English, negotiation and communication skill.
• Possess knowledge of sourcing management preferably through new product launches and key business drivers.
• Ability to work effectively within a group and/or team and provide guidance to team members.
• Experience in program management and ability to implement strategic sourcing relationships with suppliers.
