Job Description

Senior leadership position to drive ATBK Quality roadmap & culture, ensure good responsiveness to customer requests and to mentor/guide relatively junior MQE engineers.

Based in Bangkok, this is a senior leadership and management position reporting to the Assembly and Test Senior Director of Quality. The successful candidate will lead the site manufacturing quality team in Assembly Test Bangkok (ATBK) and be responsible for instilling a high level quality culture at the site, insuring quality systems process excellence, and driving to achieve zero defect quality performance. 

Role & Responsibilities :

• Leading and managing the Manufacturing Quality team and Quality Assurance System in NXP  final manufacturing wafer test, assembly, test, and logistics operations in accordance with applicable quality standards (ISO, TS and others) and NXP quality goals.
• Represent Quality on the Site Management Team with dotted line reporting to the Site General Manager.
• Interfaces with manufacturing, business lines and supplier representatives on quality issues and feedback to manufacturing and engineering for corrective/preventive action to meet quality goals.
• Drive  reductions in customer quality incidences with collaboration with factory teams and resolutions for customer issues in a timely manner.
• Lead change management reviews to ensure product quality and reliability requirements are achieved
• Lead initiatives for quality enhancement projects to achieve zero defect quality and customer Total Quality - Drive site Quality Improvement Programs
• Lead launch activities on site to ensure Flawless NTI/NPI launch
• Meet site and corporate Quality Goals
• Drive site Total Quality programs for Zero Defects and support A&T wide ZD programs were ATBK participation is important
• Ensure compliance to standard work and processes through internal audits and Gemba process
• Ensure Customer Audits success and maintain Site Quality Certifications with robust quality system deployment
• Develop Quality Team skills and competences
• Collaborate with A&T Quality from the other sites, BL Q/Ops, NTI/NPI program leads
• Drive LL on site and ensure adequate fan-in/out of best practices
