Responsibilities:
- Analyze all demands (nation-wide and by store level) for normal sales, promotion, and activity using appropriate techniques and tools, interpreting the outcomes and preparing reports, and providing solutions to facilitate business decision making. Ensure that all events and seasonality that may impact the sales are demonstrably anticipated and considered.
- Identify problem and root causes, recognize opportunities and launch initiatives to address various Supply Chain Management issues
- Co-lead cross-functional projects to design, develop, and roll-out processes and tools to improve efficiency and help business make better decisions
- Provide statistical analysis and insight to support the impact assessment of change, and specifically, forecasting and scheduling effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor in Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics.
- At least 10 years' experience in Forecasting, Demand and Supply Planning, Supply Chain Management or Business Consulting.
- Strong in analytical and quantitative skills
- Expertise in business process improvement and re-engineering. Background in Retail operations would be an advantage.
- Ability to explain complex concepts and problems in simple terms
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels
- Ability to demonstrate conceptual, innovative thinking in forecasting and demand planning methods and techniques
- Ability to work under pressure and to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Ability to develop strong internal relationships and interact at all levels
- Computer literacy (Advanced Excel, SQL, Database, VB)
- Good communication skill and competence in English both written and spoken
