Desired Candidate Profile:

• LLB or LLM from an accredited (top universities) in Thailand or abroad, licensed lawyer;
• 8+ year experience for senior associate(with Lawyer Licence)
  
• Should have good drafting skills
• Had experience in legal practice both at a law firm and as an in-house legal consultant within a corporate setting;
• Experience with corporate and commercial laws, entity formation, dissolution, qualification, general corporate maintenance, foreign direct investment and corporate structure;
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills; a strategic and creative thinker;
• Result oriented, strong attention to detail, possess an ability to remain calm and composed during times of uncertainty and stress;
• Be flexible and welcoming to change, excellent level of organizational and planning skills;
• Ability to manage numerous simultaneous projects and meet tight deadlines;
• Must be a people person, be capable of building rapport, forming strong, lasting and meaningful relationship with both internal and external clients, as well as various government agencies, while maintaining firm adherence to legal standards;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Thai and English;
• Demonstration of proactive, teamwork and collaboration skill; 
• Fluent in Chinese is a plus but not a factor of candidate selection.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Leads the junior lawyers in handling various legal drafting tasks, including corporate documents and applications for various licenses, on behalf of clients;
• Works closely with junior lawyers in developing contracts, reviewing, negotiating, and interpreting a wide array of business/corporate agreements as well as conducting research on licensing issues;
• Addresses potential securities compliance issues that heighten the legal risks to the client’s business;
• Researches any relevant legal issues and provide advise to clients on business, legal transactions and the structure of a transaction with close monitoring by senior associate;
• Negotiates settlements for legal matters;
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations;
• Lead due diligence in relation to acquisitions or divestitures including contract review, property review and other matters;
• Run signing and closing checklists, draft due diligence reports and liaise with client's counsel;
• Provide legal advice and constructive structure for the foreign direct investment in Thailand. This includes the legal structure under the laws in relation to foreign business, Thailand investment promotion, Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand, customs, and factories;
• Highly knowledgeable of legal principles specifically on finance matters such as taxation and be up to date with the existent and emerging company law legislation and practices;
• Displays exceptionally good MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint skills that will be necessary for the drafting of various legal documents as necessary and for the creation of engaging presentations as necessary.
