Job Description

How you will do it

  • Demonstrates strong leadership in people management and stakeholder management.
  • Performs production management to achieve both quality and productivity of plant targets and customer requirements. 
  • Creates new products, new processes, master schedules, and support development of new products.
  • Creates Lean Transformation, guide, coach, and lead Continuous Improvement events and activities.
  • Communicates instructions on the use of methodologies, facilitate team decisions, resolve team conflicts.
  • Assists in the development of implementation plans, and conduct follow-up, management and review master production schedules (MPS)
  • Supports development of specific production schedules that enables plant to achieve Customer delivery targets and Inventory metrics.
  • Trains manufacturing team, implement tools and processes that improve operating efficiencies.
  • Reduces cost within plant and support supply chains.  
  • Management of production to achieve the both of quality and productivity with plant target and customer requirements.
  • Plant management to achieve JCMS system, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
  • Production line improvement and Continuous improvement.
  • Management team to perform process characterization to support new products and new processes.
  • Control New products trial, support new products development process and Analysis and solve problem during new products
  • Monitoring and controller for in process quality and productivity improvement.
  • Maintenance and communication of key performance indicators that are consistent with executive strategies and plant-level performance measures. Analyze data to identify causes of variance.
  • Coordinate the scheduling and inventory movement of all outside processing inventory locations.
  • Maintains effective working relationship and communication with all departments.
  • Operates within budget and contributes to the overall reduction of overhead and expenses.

  • Collaborate with Supply Planning Manager to create and maintain a capacity requirements plan that supports the master schedule.
  • Establish and adjust safety stock levels for finished goods inventories where applicable.  Prepare run out analyses for discontinued items and coordinate an exit strategy with Manufacturing, Engineering, Product Management, and Procurement.
  • Establish and maintain a production scheduling process which results in an achievable plan that optimizes productivity, minimizes inventory, and maximizes customer service
  • Coordinates with Supplier Scheduling, Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering to assure that materials are on site in a timely manner to facilitate speedy and accurate parts availability to meet customer demands.
  • Management CI team to drive lean practices throughout the plant to include Six Sigma projects, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 5s, and improvement workshops
  • Support and coordinate with corporate R&D and other department for aligned R&D direction
  • Review and approve manufacturing objectives target (KPI) and action plan for achievement comply objectives target
  • Follow up the corrective and preventive action results of the quality and environmental management system
  • Follow up the corrective and preventive action results of quality and problem for customer, internal defect (IPPM) and outsource
  • Follow up the all of manufacturing improvement activities
  • Manage all of manufacturing manpower and budget
  • SAP improvement activity - SAP master register follow up
  • Production variance analysis
  • Liaise and collaborate across departments and analyze metrics to achieve on time delivery at optimum cost and inventory levels
  • Ensure adequate communications through supply chain
  • Check shortage reports and conduct meetings to monitor critical inventories and schedules
  • Review database and manage to place purchase orders and releases to domestic and international suppliers for   raw materials, components and assemblies according to specification with the lowest possible costs of transportation and expedites.
  • Obtain and monitor weekly/monthly performance reports and KPIs

 What we look for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering degree preferred or related field
  • 3-5 years in Plant Management – Production, quality control, material management planning or scheduling experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Mechanical and analytical ability is a must
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex technical procedures, business periodicals and journals as well as reports preparation and procedure department
  • Strong experience in businesses transformation and/or process re-engineering/simplifications is a plus
  • Experience in inventory forecasting, developing master production plans, capacity requirement planning and reducing scheduling variances are preferred
  • Must demonstrate business management skills in manufacturing operation environment
  • Technical savvy- ability to envision creative tools to gain business/operational improvement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge in ERPs (SAP, BAAN & Oracle) WMS, Web EDI etc. is a plus
  • Good command of English & Thai communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese will be an advantage
