Responsibilities:
- Identifying prospective investments that are consistent with the overall strategy of the company group.
- Developing and analyzing new/existing business strategies of the investee companies and JV partners, and the implications to the company.
- Assisting with investment processes, due diligence processes, negotiation processes and documentation processes.
- Leading discussions with relevant stakeholders, including lawyers, appraisers, valuers, auditors, advisors, and consultants.
- Developing and reviewing financial models, valuation models, investment proposals, strategic discussion papers, business plans, and feasibility studies.
- Preparing presentation materials and recommendations for the senior management and the board members.
- Taking part in the development of the business of the JV companies and investee companies.
- Coordinating with various departments to ensure alignment of process and procedures.
- Tracking and monitoring the business performance of the group and its investments.
- Preparing presentations and regularly reporting of business performance
- Performing research and analysis of market and industry peers.
- Tracking industry developments and maintaining a database of such analysis.
- Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in M&A, investment and/or business development, preferably in real estate.
- Strong accounting and financial analysis skills.
- Proficient in valuation and financial modelling.
- Must be fluent in English & proficient in MS Office.
- Must be able to travel (both domestically & overseas).
- Good business acumen combined with strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Be able to work independently, well organized, well planned, and should be able to work under stressful work conditions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
