Job Purpose (วัตถุประสงค์)

Risk Management Duties
  • Implement the Risk Management Guidelines and Policies (Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Technology Risk frameworks) in alignment with Group standards and tailor these standards to the local business & regulatory environment to embed into the organization working closely with subject matter experts.
  • Implement the Group Risk Management Governance Program and provide sound advice and material support across the full range of risk management lifecycle activities including identifying, analysing, evaluating, mitigating and monitoring of enterprise and technology risks.
  • Oversee the periodic enterprise risk assessment exercise and risk reporting process and ensure follow-through on risk mitigation plans.
  • Assist and monitor the development and implementation of risk mitigation in the first line of defence.
  • Monitor changes in local business processes, information systems, management and operations, and coordinate with operations to ensure mitigation of risks.
  • Coordinate and oversee risk management development efforts in the region working closely with the group Risk and local GRC manager responsible for ERM/BCM.
  • Report to Senior Management and relevant committees on the current enterprise risk profile and emerging risk issues.
  • Promote and provide awareness and training on Risk Management Policy
Compliance Duties
  • Advise on questions related to anti-bribery and anti-corruption, gifts and entertainment, data privacy, conflicts of interest, workplace conduct issues and other compliance risks.
  • Develop, implement and review compliance policies.
  • Conduct M&A due diligence to identify any compliance risks of potential acquisitions.
  • Conduct risk assessments with senior management to identify areas of risk. Prepare comprehensive risk council memos summarizing the assessments.
  • Develop and monitor implementation plans for each business unit to ensure implementation of compliance principles and policies.
  • Respond and when necessary investigate or oversee investigation of complaints received on the Company's whistleblower.
  • Identify, on an ongoing basis, potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk across the Company and more specifically anticipate legal and regulatory changes in legislation, either at a global or local level, that may impact/require adjustments to the global compliance program.
  • Ensure implementation of the Company’s third-party vendor management system across the relevant business units, as well as exercising approval under relevant local due diligence processes.
  • Working with Human Resources, ensure that the compliance training program and all communications, including senior management ‘tone from the top’ messaging is effectively implemented.
  • Exercise approval Brands compliance policies and protocols, e.g. Gifts and Entertainment.
  • Design, conduct and participate as required in monitoring meetings with the business units.
  • Work collaboratively with Internal Corporate Audit/Global Risk Lead in reviewing and updating status/changes in compliance risk across business units.
  • Promote and provide awareness and training on risks and compliance topics

  • We are looking for a highly motivated Risk and Compliance Manager to join our Internal Control, Risk & Compliance team based in Bangkok, Thailand.
  • The ideal candidate will be confident in his/her skills, have a great attitude, able to work hard, and wanting to join an over-achieving team.
  • In addition, he/she should thrive in a very fast-paced environment and be willing to go above and beyond.
  • This position will support Brands with our mitigation of risk/compliance issues through implementation of the ERM program and Group Control Standard framework in all aspects and across all levels of the business.

Education (การศึกษา)
  • Bachelor Degree
Experience / Special Skills (ประสบการณ์ / ทักษะพิเศษ)
  • Strong command of English and Thai
  • Knowledge of and experience with the foreign corruption practices act or comparable anti-corruption rules and regulations is strongly preferred
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills, and the personality, stature, and sense of humor to be able to work effectively with client groups at all levels. Ability to quickly establish rapport and credibility with a variety of individuals at all levels and of different cultures.
  • Practical approach to compliance, with a strong strategic business partner mentality and an in-depth understanding of how successful in-house corporate compliance departments function.
  • Be able to innovate and implement for purpose of compliance and risk management programs and systems
  • Strong business and personal ethics and integrity
  • Strong strategic and analytical capability balanced with innovative, independent thinking and readiness to be hands-on to drive success/impact
  • Dynamic and resilient individual with the demonstrated ability and confidence to make decisions and influence senior management, persuade and build consensus across the business and functions
  • Experience implementing and developing policies and processes
  • Energetic, proactive, self-starter with an open and approachable communication style
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization
  • Awareness and sensitivity to varied cultures across the region and the ability to adapt programme to address these differences
  • Previous regional scope is a plus
  • Certified compliance and ethics professional (CCEP) is a plus
  • Big 4 / FMCG experiences is a plus
  • Ability to travel
