Job Description

Job purpose:

Science and Research

  • Conduct and help manage research projects according to proposal execution plan (deliverable and timeline).
  • Analyze and report scientific results and compile report based on organization guideline.
  • To be a part to prepare new research proposals and presentations based on concepts with business relevance including DOE, project plan, budget, and deliverable.
  • Deliver knowledge from scientific finding to cross functional team for effective application to commercialization or to process improvement.
Technical and Development
  • Develop technology through specific application by creating prototypes, conducting pilot/industrial trial runs, create technical/ design/lay-out and can interpret complex lab test or trial results with close supervision.
  • Operate both laboratory testing and various pilot equipment/machines such as Retort, Spray Dry, HPP and etc.
Job Responsibility:
  • Complete literature (and patent) review, seek scientific backgrounds to critically analyses factors with supervision (as assigned).
  • Develop research protocol, DOE, and presentations.
  • Perform scientific experiments in accordance to research proposal as agreed, prepare results with statistical analysis with data interpretation to assigned scientific supervisor (if applied).
  • Observe, diagnose and identify root cause of problems and report to supervisor for quick resolution to assure smooth execution of the research project.
  • Provide ready access to all experimental data with scientifically sound interpretation/conclusion for the PI (Principal Investigator), PL (Platform Leader) and supervisors.
  • Communicate to supervisor for needed equipment or supplies and follow-up with proper document submission.
  • Prepare progress and final reports, presentations, invention record and internal/external publication.
  • Full compliance to laboratory notebook procedures, intellectual property guidelines, laboratory safety requirements, and other issued policy.
  • Deployment of developed technology to factory in a cross functions environment.
Qualification:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Chemical Engineer, Chemistry, Material Science or related major.
  • Experience in research and development preferably of food products.
  • Skills in laboratory analysis, basic statistics.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills both of Thai and English.
