Quality Manager

The Opportunity

Reporting into the Plant Director you will be directly responsible for Product Quality, Supplier Quality, and Quality Systems. You will coach and mentor the operational teams within the business to promote a culture of Quality and Safety.

Your duties include but not limited to:

• Responsible for establishment and maintenance of quality assurance standard and procedure including testing and maintenance method, procedure, data collection and tractability
• Establish and maintain a healthy partnership with both internal and external customers and suppliers
• Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality plan and system to bring the Company’s Quality Systems and Policies into compliance with quality system requirements ensuring that they meet audit requirements.
• Lead customer complaints and supplier quality issue investigation and works with team to come up with proactive action plan drive quality, continuous improvement activities
• Maintain Advanced Quality Product Planning activities through the full product life cycle
• Have a significant input into the continued development and improvement of the business on a global level regards to quality
• Work closely with suppliers to develop and improve quality standards and systems
• Take ownership for quality assessments and internal quality audits
• Keep Senior Management updated on quality KPI’s and all quality related issues

To be successful in this role you must have the following:

• Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Engineering fields
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Quality Management in Manufacturing Environment
• Ability to carry out the audit, require in-depth understanding of ISO/ TS16949, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 systems
• Very Good English language capability
• Self-Motivated with ability to work in a high-pressure environment
