The Project Manager ensures successful definition, planning, execution and delivery of customer IT solutions and internal projects for Amadeus across Asia Pacific. For project matters, he/she acts as the main contact point and coordination for the all stream owners including; commercial teams, development units; implementation specialists and quality assurance functions as well as the customers’ project teams. He/she proactively manages the project budget, schedule, scope, risks and changes; provides clear and consistent communication and direction on the project; and is ultimately accountable for functional and technical coverage, quality and security of the projects delivered.
Your core responsibilities in this role will be:
• Assist the project owners/sponsors to specify their requirements and understand project scope through coordinating workshops and solution definition activities
• Produce and execute the project management plan, including project scope, budget, deliverables, risks management, change management, resources, reporting, roles and responsibilities
• Work proactively with the Commercial teams, Solutions definition experts, Business Analysts, Developers, Quality Assurance and Training/Support team members to engage as a single project team, identify and resolve issues across the team, and foster a team environment
• Conduct regular Steering Committee meetings and regular project meetings with key stakeholders; keep stakeholders informed throughout project of risks, scope changes and schedule changes; escalate issues as necessary to project stakeholders for direction and decisions
You will work with dedicated professionals within Amadeus whose expertise covers both the Travel and IT industries to deliver the suite of Amadeus solutions that enable the success of our customers.
