Job Description
Work location at Valeo CDA, Chonburi
Mission

Pilotes supplier integration in the projects to optimize materials QCDI and non recurring costs and ensure commodity strategy deployment in the projects
Responsibilities
o Support project award during CAA with competitive costs and savings plan to finance project acquisition, seeks and obtain purchasing CAA validation
o Build up project supplier target panel from pre-SOCO with commodity organisation (RSL/BGSL) to bundle awards
o Voice of segment strategy in the project, and voice of the project to the segments
o Install competition between suppliers after pre-SOCO, bringing at least two suppliers at the same technical level before the SOCO for all components, proceeds with all negotiations before sourcing to push the cost down
o Leverage commodity organisation to reach pre-sourcing, sourcing decisions and meet project targets and offset with supply base quick savings imposed by customers
o Ensures timely sign off with the segments of all supplier contracts related the project (from development contracts to mass production)
o Achieves project purchasing index
o For global platforms assembled in multiple plants of Valeo, coordinates with PG/PLPPD and other project buyers to ensure project will meet from SOP with (i) commodity strategy requirement in every region, (ii) localisation in line with needs of receiving plant, (iii) global leverage and securisation of the supply base for the platform
o If required, supports R&D with prototypes and pre-serial sourcing commercial negotiations (physical management of parts supply not under purchasing scope)
o Liaise with purchasing Non Production organisation to achieve project investments and tooling targets
o Manages achievement of all project milestones related to suppliers
o Defines and controls communication flows and contents between project teams and suppliers
o Warrants utilisation of Group project purchasing and suppliers quality tools and information systems
o Ensure capacities for all components are covered for his project, in liaison with the commodity organisation
o For advanced purchasing (P3/P2) :
- propose and validate with commodity organisation pre-sourcing target suppliers
- manages all contractual aspects to protect Valeo intellectual property and segment panel
KPIs :Specific
o Project Purchasing Index
o Project milestones on time (ARGP, IS , etc.)
o Suppliers non recurring costs compliance to CAA target (shared with NPP organisation)
Shared
o Project inflation balance
o Project related serial savings (apportioned to OEM yearly requirements)
o Project platform localisation rate (must be in line or better than OEM project currency pass through)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree of Engineering or Business Administration
Professional Experience
- Experience 3-10 Years of Project Buyer in Automotive Industrial
- Good command in English is must required
