 Job Description

• Provide staff and users with assistance solving computer related problems, such as malfunction and program problems.
• Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and system, including coordinating the installation of computer program and system.
• Use object oriented programming languages, as well as client/server applications development processes and multimedia and internet technology.
  
• Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware.
• Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records.
• Recommend changes to improve system and network configurations.
• Confer with networks users about how to solve exiting systems problems.
• Gather data pretraining to customer needs, and use the information to identify, predict, interpret, and evaluate system and networks requirements.
• Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve work flow.
• Determine computer software or hardware needed to set up to alter system
• Analyze information processing or computation needs and plan and design
