Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare digital insurance program platform schedule and roadmaps
  • Manage and communicate (internal and external) the implementation of significant changes to planning objectives, schedule, and product configuration
  • Organize digital insurance platform program activities that may require interdepartmental meetings and communication ensuring completion of the program on schedule and within budget constraints
  • Provide support to the digital insurance platform program management function from initiation through delivery in alignment with the client’s expectations and business needs
  • Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables
  • Escalate digital insurance platform risks and identifying mitigation
  • Act as scrum master in addition to digital insurance platform program management duties
  • Work with digital insurance product management team, digital insurance operation team and other stakeholders to ensure team alignment with commitments
  • Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost target are met
  • Solves a range of straightforward problems; uses previous experience to identify solutions
  • Provide team status reports highlighting accomplishments, plans and issues across all assigned teams
  • Manage and optimize the flow of work, facilitate the team planning sessions and other agile activities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain digital insurance platform program management standards within the program management team
  • Manage people for programs involving department focused on the delivery of digital insurance platform program into a finished state
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to digital insurance program management team to help them improve their skills
  • Accept and manage changing priorities and address issues quickly and professionally

 Qualifications :

  •  A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management
  •  PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
  •  A minimum of 3 years of experience in team management
  •  A minimum of 5 years of experience managing IT projects and programs
  •  Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related fields
  • Experience in insurance business preferred
  •  Experience in digital platform preferred
