Job Description

As aCommerce Product Marketing Manager you work closely with each of our Product Managers to articulate the value of our suite of incredible ecommerce products. Ecommerce in Southeast Asia is evolving every week. We want you to be our champion in understanding the ecommerce and supply chain SAAS market in Southeast Asia. We want you to be our evangelist in communicating our family of products in the context of brand and customer trends across the region, across all forms of ecommerce. We want you to anticipate the continuously changing needs of our client brands and map out future opportunities for our family of products. We want you to think about how we our products fit into our clients’ commerce strategy, online and offline, about how we will help our clients succeed in 6-24 months from now, about how we take our family of products to market. We want you to know our competitors like the back of your hand, what they are strong in today and what they plan to do in the future. We want you do be obsessed with quality - in everything we do. We want you to be obsessed in tracking performance - you know what is working and what is not.

You are the link between our product strategy, what our product team creates and the tactics that our marketing and our sales teams use to
drive results.

Job Responsibilities:

Specifically, this role will be doing:

Market strategy

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to build an in- depth knowledge of our target markets, to develop our market strategies, to define how to best position or introduce our products into each market
  • Articulate the audience, benefits and features for each product within the aCommerce family of products for external and internal audiences

Working with Product

  • Together with our Product Managers, articulate the product positioning and the value proposition.
  • Detail the current and planned product features and how they solve proven problems for our clients

Working with Marketing

  • Ensure our products are well communicated on our digital properties and in all external communication materials
  • Ensure our products and new functionalities are well communicated and well understood within the aCommerce Group
  • Define the messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas
  • Contribute to our social channels, speaking about our family of products
  • Provide product update information to our clients, our sales and our operations teams
  • Create case studies with our clients that help other clients build their ecommerce business
  • Develop a marketing plan for our family of products with our marketing team, including key activities and budgets to support
    the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers
  • Assess the effectiveness of the marketing for our products and propose changes
  • Plan launch communication for new products and feature releases of existing products across all stakeholders

Working with Sales

  • Package solid product information to our sales teams
  • Help our sales teams understand how to price our products
  • Understand who our clients are, how they buy and their key buying criteria.
  • Research and document our clients’ buying processes, such as how they get information, how they make decisions, what key elements drive these decisions
  • Train our sales teams on the problems we solve for our clients and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and train them how and when to use them

Technical Qualifications:

  • Degree in digital design or related field
  • At least 4 years of professional UI/UX experience, using common design tools
  • Solid experience with the technical, scalable implementation of UI elements
  • Degree in Computer Engineering is a plus

Soft Skills and Other Details:

  • Passionate about customer experience and about beautiful design
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Strong portfolio
  • Ability to represent complex technical concepts into an easy-to-understand UI/UX
  • Good listener, good in understanding user sentiment and behavior
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and willingness to ‘get hands dirty’
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
  • Experience in ecommerce or supply chain concepts is a plus
