Responsibilities

• Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other professional staff, especially site management and the overall project managers.
• Liaising with project planning team to provide and confirm the progress at each site.
• Carry out all equipment testing and commissioning activities of Bangkok Monorail power electrical traction system; - including protection relay testing, equipment and system testing, migration work and commissioning.
• Carry out all equipment switching operation (switch on & off power supply, Traction and UPS system) as per the site and project requirements.
• Shall have the sufficient working knowledge of power electrical system (preferably dc traction railway) including the relay test kit such as Omicron, ESSA etc.
• Shall have the sufficient knowledge of safe and temporary measure of electrical migration work for the replacement works.
• Mobilization of required test equipment arranged and made ready to commence testing in time.
• Shall able to read the electrical scheme drawings and make necessary correction when required.
• Operate manually the systems when required to allow the train movement
• Be familiar with SCADA.
• Ensure site always neat and tidy.
• Making improvements to, and offering advice about, operational procedures.
• Scheduling and coordinating work to tight deadlines.
• Ensuring that equipment works to its specification.
• Creating and carrying out test procedures.
• Investigating problems and diagnosing and repairing faults.
• Troubleshooting.
• Liaising with installation/project engineers.
• Supervising engineering and technical staff.
• Writing reports and documentation.
• Providing technical support.
• Ensuring safe working conditions.
• Training maintenance and operative staff where appropriate.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5-10 years’ experiences.
• Age not over 38 years.
• Good communication and organization skills
• Good coordination and pleasant to work with other’s tea
• Able to multi-task and can work under pressure.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
