Job Description

Department : Technical & Engineering  

Report to : Technical Consultant Manager

Minimum requirements for this position:
  • Education : Degree/Diploma in IT Networking or equivalent
  • Minimum Experience : At least 2 years of work experience in a SI or distributor environment with network security skillset
Others    
  • Good IT knowledge in OSI 7 Layer, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN technologies and network security
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Excellent in communication and analytical skill
  • Experience in network security projects implementation
  • Positive working attitude and a good team player
  • Willing to work extended office hours and after office hours when needed
  • Exposure to security solution such as Firewall, local balancer or endpoint protection will be an added advantage
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversees projects management and implementation;
  • Codify implementation design into documented for end user's record;
  • Conduct training and presentation for team members and end-users;
  • Provide technical testing or support to pre-sales engineer/customer on the network setup;
  • Assist in POC on solutions;
  • Assist on technical communications with customer/partner, to ensure closure of sales order;
  • Ensuring that the solution can deliver on the customer’s requirements;
  • Maintain rapport with customers and competence in managing vendors.
